I consider myself fortunate in that I love my job. From a very early age I've been driven by a keen interest in technology. Early in my career, like many, I focused on knowing more and specialising — delving into new technologies to solve problems.
As time went on I wanted to operate at a higher level, which led me into quality improvement and, by natural growth, into management. I've found I can keep my love of technology and mix it with a new-found joy of developing teams and people to achieve business and personal goals. Seeing individuals progress their careers — knowing I had a hand in it — is a great feeling that fills me with pride.
Of course, work isn't all I'm about. Here are a few of my personal interests.

I'm a sucker for anything new in tech — gadgets, games, computers, equipment. My friends and family fully accept this, and I've raised a large family of nerds to carry it on. I'll happily while away the hours trying out something new.
My wife and I welcomed Lottie into our lives in October 2022. We've always had a dog in the family, and I get a lot of joy from walking and playing with little Lottie — indeed, I seem to have more pictures of her than of my own children.
I love to sit back and play through a few tunes on my saxophone. I can play clarinet, flute and oboe too, but the sax is my love — it's what I started on as a child and what I keep coming back to. I record multitrack sessions on my Mac. Pictured is my Yamaha YDS-150 digital sax, which I love for its flexibility.
I enjoy travel, abroad or in the UK — I love new experiences and cultures. I've been fortunate to visit many places for work and have spent time in many different cultures, counting myself lucky to have friends in so many countries.
